First I'd like to provide some context. I have a 2003 Nissan Altima. After moving back to Arizona 10 years ago, I had my car serviced by multiple shops with very mixed well mostly poor results. Fellow Altima owners of this year share my pain with respect to the recalls and other mechanical issues that plagued this model. After doing some troubleshooting on my own, I came across a few issues that just couldn't be done solo. I began looking around for reviews and read several about the Tag Team at Bell Rod Auto. I say Tag Team because Andy and Reinette are a team that should wear championship belts. They know what it takes to get the job done and get you back on the road. Simply put, this shop is your.Golden Bell! The first time I got work done, I simply asked for a quote for labor to replace an intake manifold gasket. The cost of labor was spot on when compared to a few other shops but I was really impressed with the quick availability and attention that was provided. I could not get the car to pass emission and provided Andy will all of the work troubleshooting that was done beforehand. Gasket was replaced and car passed emissions. Felt really good to have the car back even knowing more work would likely need to be done. When the gasket was replaced, all of the engine related codes went away and the car no longer shook like massage chair. What happened next led me to return to Andy to have the catalytic converter replaced and to have my fuel line checked. If you ever smell fuel, don't mess around. Take your ride in to get checked. Andy determined the fuel pump needed to be replaced. This was not surprising as the faulty gasket that was replaced on my first visit was indeed masking a fuel issue. The car was running hot as well and a self diagnosed catalytic converter issue was found. Once again, Andy came through and got me back on the road. This repair was not cheap but if I had taken it to dealer or another shop, I would have paid 3 times more. Fuel pumps and catalytic converters are not cheap anywhere. What really blew me away during this return trip to Andy's shop was a email sent to me at 9pm. Seriously?? 9pm, good luck having a dealer touch base with you outside of an automated email or voicemail system. This guy really goes out of his way to keep in touch with his customers. This is one of the many reasons why I would come back again. Come June 2015, record heat in Phoenix and I knew the air conditioner needed to be fixed. I had no reservations about having Andy look at the vehicle and provide an honest workup. Brought the car in on Saturday morning and had the car back Monday afternoon. This may have been a bit problematic if it was my only transportation but it was not. The reason for the delay was simply the availability of the part needed. Low and behold, Andy found that Nissan doesn't service the AC relay switch (basically, there is no Nissan Part # for it). This wasn't a surprise to me as a 03 Altima owner. Andy saved me at least 700 dollars in that he was able to find the relay switch by searching for manufacturer # of the part. If I had taken the vehicle to a dealer, the entire intelligent power distribution module (IPDM) would have needed to be replaced. For non technical folks, this is the fuse panel under the hood. If my wallet could hug Andy, it would. These are my experiences with Bell Road Auto. At this time, no one will be able to sway me to take my vehicle somewhere else.Speaking of which, I have Nissan Sentra that needs some work done. Time to ring the Golden Bell!

I asked him to also look at another issue I had had since then. which turned out to be an oil sensor the total bill was $530 they were honest upfront and did the work in a day. not only that they went to Discount Tire to get the tire key because I didn't have one. And pick me up from home to come get my car.Great business ethics his wife is a sweetheart I will definitely be back and I will be recommending them to anybody I know

It was throwing a P0171 code (running lean), hesitating, no power, running rough. Took it to my trusty mechanic Andre over at Bell Road Automotive. Turns out she had a bad catalytic converter, ignition coil and fouled spark plugs. NOT "internal mechanical failure"!! Had her back within 24 hours running good as new. THANK YOU ANDRE! YOU'RE THE BEST!!

Very fast and trustworthy. My dealership told me my front right CV boot was torn and had to be replaced but the guy here told me the clamp on it was a bit loose and leaking. I could have thrown 700$ down the trash but this place saved me.
